Intervertebral disc
Elastic structure that allows to join two adjacent vertebrae. It can be compared to a sort of bearing located between one vertebra and the other and has the task of mitigating pressure during movements of the vertebral column or blows that it may be subject to. Furthermore, through the intervertebral discs, the vertebral column acquires greater mobility to perform movements such as bending and torsions.
